Joe Crowley
My name is Joe Crowley, and I’m proud to be serving as President of the Otonabee Wolves.I grew up playing most of my minor hockey right here in Otonabee. Many of my closest friendships were built on the ice at the Keene arena, and I’ll always remember how much fun it was to play hockey with my friends in our hometown. I was lucky to have great coaches along the way who made sure we were competitive, but more importantly, made coming to the rink something we all looked forward to.Now, I’m excited for the chance to give back to the same community that gave me so much. I currently coach the U13 rep team and have been involved as a volunteer, coach, or assistant coach ever since my son started in the fantastic U7 program.I feel incredibly lucky to work alongside an enthusiastic and dedicated executive team that’s committed to making the 2025–2026 season a great one for all our players and families. Thanks for being part of the Wolves family — I look forward to a fun, positive, and successful season ahead.Go Wolves!— Joe CrowleyPresident, Otonabee WolvesMike van Bruinessen

Hello Everyone,I’m Eric Shaw, and I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of OMHA representative this season. Growing up in Hamilton, I was always involved in sports, with hockey being the most memorable. My dad was a constant presence in my life and in the lives of many players, always there to support us and make sure we had what we needed to succeed. His example of dedication to the game and to the community has always stuck with me, and it’s how I want to model my coaching and board participation moving forward. As a family, we’re all passionate about the Wolves. My sons are wolves to the core, and it’s rare for us to leave the house without one of us wearing Wolves gear. The excitement they feel when they’re at the rink with their friends is something special, and it’s something I’m proud to be a part of.For me, hockey has always been about more than just the game—it’s about the friendships built along the way. The rink has a way of bringing people together, and I’m excited to see those bonds continue to grow, not just for the players but for the families too.I’ve always been willing to pitch in and help out when needed, but this season, it’s my turn to take on a larger role. Coming from a larger city, I’ve always admired how a smaller community can come together and support each other. It’s something truly inspiring, and I can’t wait to be a part of that energy.I look forward to seeing everyone at the rink this season, making new memories, and contributing however I can. Let’s make it a great one!Best,Eric ShawAnthony Garofolo
