Round Robin GM 1 - Wolves top Havelock 6-1 GM 2 - Wolves tie Ennismore 4-4 GM 3 - Wolves top Percy 4-0 GM 4 - Wolves beat Havelock 6-0 GM 5 - Wolves over Percy 9-3 GM 6 - Rescheduled vs Ennismore. Mon Feb 20 at 3:30 pm in Keene. The Wolves have also played a total of 11 tournament games to this point. Our record in tournies is 9W-2L. Overall record for the season as of Feb 13 is 22W - 14L - 1T. We started off 2-8, which means we have played at a 20W-6L-1T clip over our last 27 games. The kids have improved exponentially since the start of the season.

Wolves pulled out a heart stopping 3-2 win in quadruple OT today over South Grenville in their 3rd game of the day on the canal.  A tight contest throughout, the game was decided on a penalty shot in the 4th OT period, with Keegan potting the winner to seal the deal. If you took a penalty in the 3rd or in OT, then a penalty shot was awarded instead of sending someone to serve a penalty. We were winning the game with 20 seconds left in the 3rd when we took a penalty and the opposing squad scored to tie it on the penalty shot. So, it was kind of like karma for us when we scored the same way ...

The Peewee Wolves are getting ready to take on the Beeton Stingers at 940 am Sunday morning on Canal Rink #2. Wish us luck as we play to win a championship. Kids are having fun playing on this ice. But everyone is going to have to get their skates sharpened after this tournament. Lets Go Wolves!

In a dominating display of defensive hockey, the Wolves played kitty bar the door over the full 200 foot sheet of ice, while converting timely passing and scoring into a 3-0 shutout win over the boys from western Ontario.  Marcus earned the shutout. Nice game by everyone. Total team effort. Game 3 time and ice pad TBD.

Colton scored his first two goals of the season earning MVP honours for the game and  leading the Wolves to a 7-1 victory over the Red Wings from Schomberg.  Dominating win on the canal ice in very challenging, freezing conditions.  Played short handed with 9 players, but our 3 dmen shut down the opposition and fed the pucks up-ice for our forwards the entire game.  Next game is at 12:30 pm against Hanover.
