Game Sheet - Dec 9: Otonabee Tops Percy 7-0
Liam R. leads the Wolf Pack in scoring against Percy, setting up four goals.
The boys in black played a complete team game tonight after journeying down the back roads to Warkworth for a game against a game Percy squad.
There were many positive things to comment on after tonight's game. Team work, for one.
Leroy (#14) set up four helpers tonight, extending his consecutive game scoring streak to four.
Keegan (#17) scored a hat trick and Marcus (#1) earned a shut out between the pipes.
There was passing throughout the game and unselfish team play was prominent tonight.
Also tallying goals in the first tonight were James (#12), Keegan (#17), Liam P. (#8) & Sebby (#16). Sebby's goal came after he went coast to coast. Beauty!
With a five goal lead 12 minutes into the first, it was time to protect the lead. Keegan (#17) scored in the 2nd and again in the 3rd to round out the scoring. Earning assists on the night were Leroy (#14) with four, Nate Dog (#4) with three, Sebby (#16) with two and Jack (#2), Samuel (#7) and Josh (#5) with one each.
Samuel (#7), Jack (#2), Nathan (#4), Liam P (#8) and Josh (#5) all played strong games on D. Josh, Nate Dog & Samuel usually play forward, but were pressed into D corp duty and they did a great job.
Linc (#15) and Colton (#3) stepped up to play forward and had their chances throughout the game. Hopefully you'll both bend the twine next game.
