Game Sheet: Otonabee outskates Ennismore 6-2
It took awhile to get the legs moving, but once they did, there was no stopping the Wolves tonight.
Ennismore scored twice early for a 2-0 lead and then the Keeners decided to start skating!
Then they threw some passes in, too!
Liam R, with his 3rd in 3 games led off the Wolves scoring with a rocket from the side boards. Carter H followed that with another bullet to tie the game.
Then Joshua L. picked the corner on the back hand to put the Howler's up by a score. Twas a lead they would never relinquish.
Scoring insurance markers were James S with a pair and Simon S.
Marcus played well between the pipes and the defence corp was outstanding all game, shutting down their opponents at every turn. The forward's back check was relentless throughout the game and that surely frustrated the squad from north of the city.
One facet of our game that is improving by leaps and bounds is our passing. Compared to the first 5-6 games of the season when there were only a few assists handed out, we are now earning a ton of assists. I'll add the helpers in once I take another look at the game sheet.
Another well earned team win for the Keeners. What a bunch of beauties.
